THE TIME HAS COME! “Are You There?” is an Immersive Poetry Installation I’ve been quietly putting work into since summer and it’s finally ready for the world. I’m so excited to share this work with you. There are so many moving parts to this piece and I put so much care and attention into each one. I’ve worked with some truly brilliant collaborators to bring these poems to life and have taught myself SOOOO many new mediums to be able make this happen. They’ll be plenty of opportunities to experience it but I’d love to see y’all at the Opening November 4. This event is supported by Art House Cares, a grant program by Art House Productions in Jersey City.

Please join the Friends of LSP's annual 5K Run on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 9am starting near the Flag Plaza and going north along the scenic Waterfront Walkway. Walkers are welcome also! The Run fundraiser will help the Friends carry out our mission of protecting and improving LSP, threatened by the billionaire Paul Fireman and his funded surrogates’ privatization and commercialization plans.

Miller Library Branch 100 Years Celebration

Originally called the Bergen Branch, our Miller Branch opened at its current address, 489 Bergen Avenue, in 1922. Over the decades, the Miller Branch has served countless patrons and Jersey City residents. Its collections and have grown and evolved with the neighborhood. Thousands of story times, classes, events and concerts have occurred in this well-loved building. Odds are, you were not around when the Miller Branch opened, but you can certainly be around for our 100th Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, Nov. 5, from 12-4 PM. What’s that address again? 489 Bergen Avenue... one of our JCFPL homes for the last 100 years.
