🎨 Supporter of the arts? Smush Gallery is hosting a Petit Four-th Birthday Formal on Saturday with food, performances, music, and silent auction. Tickets $30 for students/artists, $50 general admission.


⚜️ Want to celebrate Mardi Gras? McGinley Square restaurant, Krewe, is hosting a Mardi Gras party this Sunday with buffet, music by Bon Temps Brass Band, beads, and a complimentary hurricane with your ticket, priced at $40.

Trailblazers Volunteer Day

  • 10am-12pm at Liberty State Park

  • LSP Trailblazers focus on removing non-native, invasive weeds and vines and planting of native shrubs to enhance wildlife habitat and trail access. Please be sure to dress to work outdoors with long sleeves, pants, sturdy shoes, and work gloves if you have them. We will meet at the Nature Center located at 275 Freedom Way.

Art Opening "Interim"

  • 6-8pm at JC Instrumental

  • Join Jersey City abstract artist AmyH at JC Instrumental as she opens her contemporary art collection titled “Interim” inspired by the poem of the same name by John O’Donohue. The artist will be joined by local musicians Sofia Oro, Michael Browne, Lara Savage, and Eric Greenstein, and poet Jlarok, before closing the evening with her gallery talk.

Music Performance by Lauren Rosato

  • Lauren Rosato is a Jersey City-based singer-songwriter. On her debut album Real Enough (2021), Rosato explores both deeply personal struggles and euphorias through misty soundscapes. The 9-track album represents an evolution in her work, as she presents full band arrangements of some of her best works for the first time. Her previous releases include Dream In Fantasy EP (2018) and Crush EP (2019).

Weeding Out The Stoned

  • Weeding Out The Stoned is The Game Show of Sobriety Tests. A pack of comedians enter. All but one of them are stoned. It's up to all of us to eliminate the high comics to spot the sober individual so everyone can win dope prizes. "Detective" Alex Grubard seeks audience testimony, plays mind games and administers sobriety tests to NJ's premier comics. Help spot the sober Narc by weeding out the stoned!
