Tony Malaby’s Under the Turnpike Trio

One of the most unique stories of artists creating through the pandemic that garnered national attention was longtime JC resident and brilliant saxophonist Tony Malaby's weekly trio residency under the NJ Turnpike overpass to the Holland Tunnel. Come and hear the special music that was forged during such a difficult period which proved so fertile to both express the time and the unique setting it was created in. This show is presented in partnership with @riverviewjazzjc and supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund.
